Polypropylene is a rigid, lightweight, chemical resistant homopolymer plastic available in sheet and rod. Polypropylene comes film masked in bright white. It may be custom-ordered in blue, black, and euro-gray. Polypropylene meets FDA requirements for the food industry. Polypropylene, PP for short, is a common plastic that offers a good balance of thermal, chemical and electrical properties. It has a good strength to weight ratio and normally has a hard glossy surface.
