"A wise man does not need advice and a fool won't take it."
PTFE or Teflon* as it is more commonly known, is a high molecular weight termoplastic used mainly for high temperature applications. PTFE has a high heat resistance, approx. 650F, and offers a very low co-efficient of friction. It also comes in many modified grades the most common being a glass-filled grade to increase dimensional stability.
PTFE Sheet
Also known as Teflon, PTFE sheet has high heat resistance.
PTFE Rod
PTFE or Teflon rod is excellent for high temperature areas.
