Tivar® H.O.T. UHMW Sheet

Tivar H.O.T. (high operating temperature) UHMW is engineered to operate in up to 220F temperature. This unique benefit coupled with the Tivar UHMW wear and slip characteristics makes Tivar H.O.T. hot property! Tivar H.O.T. UHMW sheet is used as a wear material with huge impact strength! Tivar H.O.T. UHMW has a water absorption rate of basically zero and therefore can used used in scalding hot, submerged, applications effectively.

TIVAR UHMW(Ultra high molecular weight) is superior ultra high molecular weight sheet that is extremely tough as well as incredibly abrasion resistant. With very low co-efficient of friction, this material is best used in rough duty applications. As with most plastics, care must be taken when machining to ensure dimensional stability is maintained. Tivar H.O.T. UHMW applications include; most wear applications, hopper liners, bearings, bushings, pipe saddles, conveyor guides and numerous others that require elevated temperature resistance. Various modified forms are also used to broaden the scope of applications.
